Now that we're into the month of May, you should know that college coaches are on the road recruiting as part of the spring evaluation period. This is a really exciting time!
Not sure what the spring eval. period is all about? Below are 5 key things you need to know about this time, and what coaches are doing:
- Division 1A and 1AA coaches will visit their top recruits at their high school before May 31st
- Programs will also call each of their top prospects once between April 15th and the end of May (you will get a call if you're on their recruiting radar!)
- Coaches will be evaluating the athletic and academic levels of 2014/15 recruits, to choose the athletes their most interested in
- Coaches will be getting athletes they're interested in registered for their camp, as well as providing them with the next steps in the evaluation process
- Coaches are now able to evaluate videos of recruits from camps and combines
SPRING RECRUITING IS VERY ACTIVE AT NORCO!BELOW IS A LIST OF SCHOOLS THAT HAVE ALREADY VISITED NORCO OR WILL BE AT SPRING PRACTICE. THERE WILL BE MANY MORE IN THE UPCOMING WEEKS.

Norco Cougars Spring Training Texas Holdem Tournament
Football season is just around the corner so come out for a fun night Saturday on a day and place to be determined and support our boys at the same time. Yup, we had to postpone it, but stay tuned and get some pratice fun in for now.
